Week 10 Mary and Martha
Jesus had friends. Three of His friends were called Lazarus, Mary and Martha. They lived in a town called Bethany and Jesus used to go and visit them and have tea with them and hang out. Remember that Jesus came to show us what God is like - God likes to hang out with His friends. We are His friends!!! Would you like Jesus to come and hang out with you and have tea at your house? That would be cool wouldnt it? If Jesus came for tea what would you do? Would you tidy up? Make some food? Set the table? Maybe you would light some candles and put some nice music on Thats what Martha decided to do. She got really busy tidying up and cooking and cleaning and being really busy. How did she feel?
